ACPOSL Copyright Awareness Program

The ACPOSL National Copyright Awareness Programme is an initiative aimed at promoting a better understanding of music copyright, creators' rights, and the importance of lawful music licensing in Sri Lanka. Organised in collaboration with the National Intellectual Property Office (NIPO), the programme brings together creators, businesses, venue operators, broadcasters, event organisers, and other music users to strengthen awareness of copyright obligations, collective licensing, and the vital role of royalties in supporting composers, lyricists, and publishers.
